Swaged sockets are forged from special bar quality carbon steel with its hardness controlled by spheroidized finest annealing.
Sockets have an efficiency rating of 95% based on the catalog strength of wire rope.
Swaged sockets are recommend for use with 6×19, 6×37, ISP or EIP, EEIP, RRL, FC or IWRC Wire Rope.
Before using any swaged sockets with any other type of lay, construction or grade of wire rope, it is always recommended that the swaged sockets be destructive tested and documented to prove the adequacy of the assembly.
